TCP/IP Setting Manual

Steps using GUI using Windows operating system;

1. Search and open Control Panel.
2. Click Network and Internet.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Click Network and Sharing Center.
   

   
   

   

   
   
   
4. Click Change Adapter Settings.
   
   

   

   
   
   
5. Right click on 'Ethernet' and click properties to do the configuration.
   
   

   

   
   
   
6. Double click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
   
   

   

   
   
   
7. Configure the subnet mask, default gateway and DNS server based on what we have calculated from previous section (Subnetting Calculation).
   
   

   

   
   
   
   
8. To verify the configuration, open Command Prompt and type ipconfig/all.
